The US, Israel and Iran are still. Its been five days now.

The situation in the Middle East is getting fast. The US and Israel have hit targets in Iran including some nuclear sites in Tehran. Iran has hit back with missiles and drones and they have hit military and civilian sites.

In Iran there has been bombing in western Tehran. Videos show a lot of smoke rising over the city. The Natanz nuclear facility was hit,. Iranian officials say no radioactive material has leaked out. Iran has launched over 500 missiles and around 2,000 drones. Some of these attacks have even hit US sites like the embassy in Saudi Arabia and near the consulate in Dubai.

The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said Israeli pilots are still flying over Tehran. He said they will keep striking "with force." Many people have died: 800 in Iran and at least 50 in Lebanon. Iran has warned it could hit centers, in the Gulf if the attacks keep happening.

Other countries in the area are also feeling the impact:

* Qatar stopped some projectiles over Doha, which made loud explosions and authorities caught 10 people suspected of being spies.

* Saudi Arabia said that two drones hit the US embassy in Riyadh causing fires and damage.

* Oman told all citizens to stay safe at home because of ongoing threats.

Off the coast of the UAE a ship got hit by something and a drone hit near the US consulate in Dubai.

In Israel rockets were fired at the town of Metula by Hezbollah. They also targeted a base in Haifa. Israel carried out airstrikes in Lebanon hitting about 60 Hezbollah sites, including places where they store weapons command centers and missile launchers. These attacks in Lebanon killed at 50 people and hurt hundreds.

In the United States President Donald Trump said more attacks will happen. Warned that Iran will "hurt a lot". He said that the US is not trying to change the government in Iran but suggested that someone from inside the government could take over after the war. This conflict has caused debate in the US with Democrats questioning Trumps reason for the strikes. The US Senate is planning to vote on the War Powers Act to see if Trump has the right to do these operations.

Tensions with the UK have also increased, as Trump criticized Prime Minister Keir Starmer for not supporting the strikes or letting the US use Diego Garcia. Meanwhile lawmakers are warning that the US could get pulled into a ground war. Far six American soldiers have died, including four in an Iranian strike on a military facility in Kuwait.

The government in Lebanon officially banned Hezbollahs operations and asked them to give up their weapons. Israels UN ambassador, Danny Danon called on Lebanon to take action saying that just talking won't stop the rockets.

Other countries affected by airstrikes include Iraq, where US forces targeted sites used by groups backed by Iran like Kataib Hezbollah and Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq.

On the evacuation front the Czech and Slovak governments successfully flew their citizens out of Jordan bringing them safely home.

The situation is still very tense and unpredictable with security in the region and around the world, at risk as the conflict spreads.
